Finally! "Cowboy" Boots for City Girls, December 20, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Volatile Women's Denver Boot (Apparel) I actually have two pair of Volatile's Denver boots. The brown ones I bought at the end of October are so comfortable, I had to have a black pair too. "Comfortable" to me means that not only do they fit well when you first put them on, but you can pound the pavement for hours at a time without sitting much and not be miserable with foot and/or back pain by the end of your outting. Both colors are quite a bit lighter than anticipated when they arrive, but each time they are worn, the color seems to morph darker -- presumably from contact with skin and other environmental factors. The higher heel makes them look sexier than regular western-style (cowboy) boots, and they are real head-turners with jeans, leggings, or skirts. Also, even with frequent wear, I have not been disappointed with the durability so far, and I plan to order another style of Volatile boots soon.
