I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are also very comfortable and well made. The only thing to keep in mind when ordering these is that they run a full size small. I always wear a size 40 (appx. 9.5US) but had to order these in a size 41.
6 month update: My main worry with these shoes was durability and I'm happy to report that after 6 months these shoes are still going strong with no major signs of wear.

SO adorable but run small..., August 26, 2011 This review is from: ALL BLACK Women's Fish Bow Mary Jane Pump (Apparel) I waited almost 6 months to purchase these shoes since they were sold out everywhere in my size and they were definitely worth the wait! I took the other reviewer's advice and went one size up to a 9 which was perfect for me. These really are one WHOLE size small. The detail in these shoes is just amazing! The scales are a creamy grey and then each one is outlined in metallic silver. The bow stays tied all day with no issues and the heel is the perfect height to wear all day. For me personally, they are a bit tight in the toe box which has given me a blister or two but this is the first day of wearing them so that is to be expected. The heel also wears fast so it looks like I will be replacing them soon which, considering the pricetag on these shoes, shows that maybe the designers didn't mean these to be worn everyday; how silly considering how lovely they are-you just can't help but find a way for them to go with everything you wear! So unique & adorable. The fish scales are even more attractive in person- they have metallic tips. The ribbon is threaded through simple grommets, so you could easily customize with your own ribbon. One note: you do have to know how to tie a pretty bow. I'm embarrassed to say that took me about 45 minutes of fiddling before I got it down, even with the help of online tutorials. As other reviewers pointed out, the sizing listed is WAY off. Instead of using the online sizing, I ordered the same European size as a different pair of Euro sized shoes I own (supposedly a US size 11 instead of my normal 9.5!) and length was perfect, but they came in a bit wide for my medium B feet, which float around in there and detract from the cuteness. I bought some insoles, which both increase the comfort & soak up the extra space, so now they are perfect and my only complaint is that I had to add $ to an already expensive purchase.
