I finally found a boot that touches my calf, December 1, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ECCO Women's Hobart Buckle Boot (Apparel) I am SO SO SO sick of trying on boots that are ginormous in calf circumference. Extended calf sizes are available for those with large calves, but those with skinny calves are out of luck. Well, I decided to give these boots a try because the buckles on the calf are adjustable. Of course, when I tried them on, the last hole on each buckle strap still made the boot look like a pair of Wellies. BUT, I pulled the straps tight enough to fit my calf (lucky for me, the leather panel under the straps is thinner and folds over!), poked a new hole for each buckle, and the strap ends lay flat against the boot. WINNER! If you have skinny calves, these may be the only boots that fit due to the fact that they are truly adjustable.

The euro sizing was right on the mark - I wear a 10.5 M. The adjustable buckles are a nice touch, but the shaft is very roomy and comfortable without adjusting. The leather is soft and supple and felt great with the first wear. They are stylish and can go in either direction - dressy or casual. I liked them so much I ordered them in black after getting this first pair!

She wears them all the time and is extremely happy with their comfort. Ecco makes a great shoe. Highly recommended
