The Perfect Shoe, December 5, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: adidas Women's Response Cushion 20 Running Shoe (Apparel) I walk/run 5 miles a day and I finally found the perfect shoe for me. I've never had a more comfortable shoe, it feels like I'm walking on a cloud. I always have two pairs of running shoes on hand so I can rotate them every day. When I ordered these I also ordered another model. There was no comparison. I shipped the others back and ordered another pair of Women's Response Cushion 20 running from another site that had them on sale.

These are the first pair of adidas I have bought for physical fitness, and I love them. They are light-weight without feeling cheaply made, they're bright and fun, they offer enough support to be comfortable, and they fit true-to-size. I also like the bright green accents on the sole and sock liner.
In short, this is a funky, fun, functional shoe that fits well. I am very pleased.

Comfy, light, wide sneakers, October 10, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: adidas Women's Response Cushion 20 Running Shoe (Apparel) I bought these shoes after being fitted at an Adidas store and having tried them on first. My feet are somewhat wider in the center resulting in my arch hurting in normal shoes that provide "arch support". These shoes are wider than normal sneakers leaving my arch more space. However, the shoes are wide all over, so my toes end up with a lot of space. The shoes themselves are fairly light and very comfortable. The entire top part of the shoe is layer upon layer of a mesh-type material meaning that more air circulates in the shoe (you can feel a slight breeze in the toes when walking outside). Plus, I like the happy lime & aqua colors without the shoes being "loud". I gave it four stars only because I'm having trouble adjusting to such "big" shoes after wearing vibram five-fingers everywhere. They could be more slim in the toes and wider in the middle/heel.
