Never a mistake to buy Birkenstock, February 21, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Birkenstock Larisa Sandal (Apparel) As usual, these shoes are very well made and are comfortable right out of the box. I have narrow, sensitive feet and a lot of foot pain and they were immediately comfortable and felt like I'd already broken them in. This is my 4th pair they are all comfortable and hold up for years. The nice part is that you can have them repaired if you wear out the sole. This is a really cute sandal and a little more feminine looking than my Arizona's, which I freely admit to wearing with socks. I've reached that point in life where comfort trumps stylishness. Must be the old hippie in me!

I have a wide foot and these are just right. I also purchased a new style thong. They indicated they were wide, but they are narrower than the Habana. Love being able to remove the middle strap.

The leather is nice and thick and the craftsmanship screams quality. I live in this shoe during the summer and I really like the look of this particular style. When it gets a little colder or I wear heels, this is the shoe I want to have waiting for me when I get home. After any amount of stress on your feet, these shoes realign them to take any pain away. I would wear them in the winter if it weren't cold (I cannot wear them with socks...it just goes against me) and the clogs just haven't reached the stylish look that the sandals achieve but you can bet I wear them around the house all of the time. I can't say enough about them.
