I was looking for a cute ankle bootie but I dislike super high heels and I wanted something that was of high quality that I'll be able to keep for a few years. I typically never buy anything without looking at a review first, but I made a leap of faith for these and am glad I did! Ordered on Thursday night, received on Friday afternoon, and worn all day Sunday and Monday -- not a single regret. I typically need zippers, but these are easy on and off when you release the buckle and the detail is very cute. Great to wear with jeans, skirts and dresses. The cashmere taupe color is kind of cognac-y, but not quite as bright. Highly recommend!

If your pants aren't long enough, it keeps getting caught at the front lip, where boot is loosely gathered. So after sitting, and I stand up, I need to always arrange my pants to ensure it was outside of the boot, instead of partly tucked in accidentally. If your pants are long enough to stay outside of boot while sitting (or stay tucked in if wearing leggings), then no problem. Still really like the boot though, comfy and cute.

It is easy to slip on and off, however you have to buckle to tight the ankle. It would be wonderful if it has a zipper instead. Great boots.
