Comfy and Attractive, Light on Quality and Durability, January 24, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OTBT Women's Springfield Flat (Apparel) These shoes are true to size, attractive, and very comfortable, but after only wearing them at home to see how they fit, the wedge began to compress at the heel area, causing the covering material on the wedge to wrinkle where it meets the outsole. This was a slight compression, but after only a few hours or wear at home on soft surfaces, it seems to show questionable construction/materials to me. Significant arch present, which feels awkward to some people, but suits me well. Heel strap not adjustable, so it could be too loose for some wearers; it was barely snug enough for me. Overall, average shoe, but would have been excellent if the workmanship issues had not knocked it out of consideration for me. I returned them, and Amazon fully refunded me.

Runs big, May 6, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OTBT Women's Springfield Flat (Apparel) I ordered these shoes in a size 6.5 based on the other reviews that said the shoes run big. I think a size 6 would have been a slightly better fit. I normally wear a size 7, sometimes a 6.5. The shoes are definately comfortable and I was just being lazy on exchanging them for a size 6.

So comfortable, just the right width (I wear a 10), beautiful suede, lovely color, like they're made just for me. Only one quibble: the sole of the shoe is slippery leather making them difficult to wear with socks/tights. Fits like a glove otherwise. Love this wedge!
