The leather is nice, soft with a sort of aged look. The inner wool fleece lines the entire boot and footbed, which is roomy. Both sides open completely when unbuckled-nice for smoothing down your jeans. They will have a zero break in period- so comfy!! I purchased them for next year, but am now hoping for just a bit more cold weather.

They are very neutral and will go with a lot! They slip on very easily and are SUPER comfortable. I have very muscular calves and these boots fit GREAT! Also, I wear an 8.5 and I ordered the size 9 boots - Perfect! I LOVE Bearpaw. These are my third pair of Bearpaw boots. I have paid more for their competitor's boots and I find that the Bearpaw boots are more durable (not to mention cuter). I highly recommend these boots!
