This album rocks!, July 26, 1998 By A Customer
This review is from: Ian Moore (Audio CD) Ian Moore's self titled debut album is a 1 hour tour de force of guitar magic and lyrical power. Tracks like "Satisfied" and "Deliver Me" hand down choruses that will make you hit the <repeat> button on your CD player, and the hard-hitting riffs of "Harlem" and "How Does it Feel" will make you crank up the volume. I enjoyed this album more than any album I've heard in a long time....

blues-rock at it's best, July 31, 1998 By A Customer
This review is from: Ian Moore (Audio CD) I've been listening to Ian Moore and going to his shows for 3 years and he's one of the best to come out of Austin in a few years. This album combines good, rocking guitar with soulful and heartfelt vocals to give you some music you won't easily put back in its case.

A gem I recently discovered..., May 22, 2001 This review is from: Ian Moore (Audio CD) First, let me just say that if you're considering purchasing this CD, you definitely need to read the review by "A music fan from Detroit Rock City." "Music fan" has basically covered every base you could want covered in a review, and his/her assessment is dead-on. I already knew about Ian Moore's label and style shifting before I bought this CD, but if you buy this CD and come to love it like I do, then you'd expect Ian's other CDs would follow much the same style. Sadly, that's not the case...Why Ian Moore chose to depart from the bluesy guitar into another style is beyond me because this CD definitely showcases his talents for bluesy songs. He has a great voice, the guitar sounds effortless, and the whole package is natural. My love for this CD began with one song--"Satisfied." While I really enjoy the CD in its entirety, I think "Satisfied" is the best track. It is in this song that you can hear unchecked emotion and desire, and... Read more
