My original intention in purchasing this was to have something clear that could be placed over my laptop screen and written on, since I didn't want to print out practice exams and preferred to just write on my laptop screen (which was probably not good for the screen, but oh well). It's slightly larger than my laptop (9x14") and I ended up just using it separately.
Parts: 1) The marker gives off a particularly strong and pungent odor, and doesn't erase very well. The cap was not at all secure, so when it fell off a couple of days later, the marker was completely dried and useless. 2) I was really happy that the board was not warped when I got it. However, it is highly likely that there will be warping eventually, since the only support is the thin vinyl framing around the board, and there is no backing like with regular dry erase boards. Also, since it is made of plexiglas, the board does get a few small scratches but they aren't too noticeable.
