As a math teacher, I was looking for a product I could use on the dry erase board. While this set is large enough for my small class of 15 students, it might be more difficult for students to see, in a larger classroom setting. Also, the products were a tad warped so the magnets aren't flush to the board, making it difficult for them to stay in place without holding it with a free hand. The handles are great. It worked well for me.

The handles are very useful (and the magnets help) to draw these items without the templates shifting... my students actually get decent drawings of what I mean (I couldn't draw a straight line without a ruler to save my life).

The compass is "big" enough to accommodate a whiteboard dry-erase marker, once you can get the compass thumb-screw loosened. I was unable to loosen the thumb screw myself, and it took a "brawny guy" type with a pliers and some effort to be able to loosen the thumb screw. Without loosening the thumbscrew to turn the "pen clamp" into position, the compass... Read more
