All our children have had fun writing notes and sticking them on the walls for the recipient to see. It is funny to see what they write and the surprise places the notes are stuck. However, the child will try to erase the crayon while the note is stuck to the wall, and what will happen is that the crayon will smear onto the wall itself so that when you remove the decal, you will see a crayon outline of it. Our walls are painted with semi-gloss paint, and it hasn't been too much effort to remove the crayon outline, but it might not be so easy if your walls have flat paint or wallpaper. Oh, now I see the small print on the back of the decal package that states "STAIN ADVISEMENT: Keep away from wallpaper, painted walls, unfinished wood, carpeting and other materials that cannot be laundered." But the package itself shows the stickers on painted bedroom walls!
