Decent for the price, January 20, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Board Dudes 36"x48" Oak Style Frame Dry Erase Board (16354UA-1) (Office Product) Despite the fact that there was only one previous review, I still took a gamble on this board because of the low price. The Board Dudes have a reputation for poor packaging as mentioned on many other reviews and I would have to agree. They certainly don't waste any money or materials on packaging. The item did arrive beat up on the outside but fine inside. I would have preferred an aluminum frame but many people complained of it arriving bent so I chose wood instead.
The board does measure 48" wide for the overall dimension but the white board itself is slightly smaller as expected but I'm fine with that. Once mounted as per their instructions, it is very sturdy and definitely worth the price. The picture is deceiving as it suggests that it has a tray on the bottom for the markers which is not the case. I probably would have given it a 5 star rating otherwise.

This wasn't a priority for me (I would probably still have ordered it if I had known it wouldn't include a tray) but I was a bit annoyed about the misrepresentation, just on principle.
More importantly the board was very poorly packaged, and two corners of the cheap "oak style" veneer frame were crushed. The surface was also more warped than I would have liked; I'm not sure whether the shipping conditions were responsible for that, or just the shoddy materials and construction. In any case you're probably better off picking another dry erase board.

Just a heads up. The frame is kind of chintzy, I hope it can actually hold the weight of the board. Not the most sturdy thing. Hopefully after a year or so of using it, I will STILL be using it, and not returning here to spout off about it. ;)
