The shoe keeps its shape and its quality. I would recommend purchasing water repelant to keep the shoe intact and good looking on rainy days. Also, take into consideration what you might be doing that day. For example, if you're planning on going a long city walk, or a rigorous rural hike, do not wear these shoes. They cannot endure cross country walking as the sole of the shoe will start to wear away. Other than that, these shoes are great to wear to a nice dinner party or laid back function where great style is welcomed.

Work well with long black trousers... I don't expect they will last very long though, the heel is already showing signs of wear and I have worn them only a few times (sole is some kind of cheap synthetic). The upper is faux nubuck of course but in black is pretty convincing. They had a strong chemical smell when I opened the box on their arrival - I left them in the laundry to air before wearing and the smell has gone ... must have been the glue used in the manufacturing process, it was pretty potent.

I spend a lot of time in tennis shoes, and these honestly are just as comfortable. I get lots of compliments on the shoes. The sizing is done well too. I would definitely make this purchase again.
